Hi, I'm Tessa

I have been nursing for almost 30 years, gaining a wealth of experience in both hospital and community settings.
From initial qualification as a hospital-based ward nurse, I then became a midwife. After having both of my children I moved into General Practice nursing where I have been for the past 18 years, except for 3 years out to undertake further training in Public Health as a Health Visitor.
General practice nursing enabled me to specialise in wellbeing and preventative healthcare, using these skills to enhance the patient consultation whether in women’s health, diabetes, weight loss, or any area whereby lifestyle improvements would help a person to feel and
cope better.
Through my passion for health and wellbeing I now practice independently to offer clients a more personal, targeted, and in-depth supportive approach.

Individuals are often unable to seek the right support within the NHS for areas such as the Menopause or Diabetes and I provide hope for those struggling.

Having undertaken specialist training in the menopause and nutrition coaching I can provide holistic, evidence-based support for my clients.

I am a qualified prescriber and can prescribe medications for patients within my scope of nursing practice (such as HRT) on a private basis.
